Dorset Concrete Mixed on Site
One of the main problems that construction companies and similar clients get is that when they receive concrete, they don’t get the right volume. Accurate measurements are vital, but many projects end up leaving batches to waste or don’t have enough and need to order more. Well, you won’t have that problem with us as we provide mix-on-site concrete in Dorset.
We can volumetrically proportion the raw materials and make adjustments to the mix and strength of your concrete while on site. Our ready mix concrete, Dorset customers, is not mixed in a central batching plant unlike other companies. This allows us to form an accurate sized batch for your project.
So, how does it work? Well, the aggregate is fed into the hopper via a conveyor belt, and there, the cement and water is added. The mixture is then fed into a screw auger at the back of the lorry. The auger is 2.5 metres in length, but it can be extended to 5 metres with additions. Doing this volumetric method means that your Dorset concrete mix can go from wet to dry and then dry to wet again.
As well as providing customers with mix-on-site concrete in Dorset, we are also fair with our pricing. You will only ever be charged for the mixture that you use, so if you end up ordering too much, you won’t have to pay for the rest. Keep in mind that our mixer can also produce screed with fibres and retarder. The volumetric allows us to produce between 0.5 metre to 14 metres in quantity.
